My Inspiration
My inspiration comes from the world around me, from the textures and colors of the earth to the patterns in the sky. I aim to capture the beauty and fun found in the world in my ceramics. I love creating pieces that are both timeless and modern.
How it is made
I handcraft each piece with care and attention to detail in my home studio, using hand building and wheel thrown techniques that I continue to develop and perfect. I start with stoneware clay that I form, fire, glaze and fire again to 2,200 degrees in my kiln. I truly believe that the beauty of handcrafted ceramics lies in their imperfections, making each piece truly unique and lovely.
